In 2019 Mark Tress, Stephen Werdiger and Chaim Rottenberg established Cedar Health Group (CHG) as a privately held opportunist investment and asset management company servicing the healthcare industry. They bring a combined forty plus years of multi-industries experiences. CHG focuses on purchasing and developing long-term, acute, and mental health facilities throughout the country.
CHG uses its multi-industry experience to creatively identify and execute on opportunities across the country. CHG has found that providing the full continuum of care for the medically and mentally challenged is a growing need that is not yet being properly addressed by the current medical establishment.
CHG owns and operates four Long Term Acute Care Hospitals, Intensive Specialty Hospital in Shreveport, Intensive Specialty Hospital North Campus, Intenseive Specialty Hospital Pierremont Campus, and Intensive Specialty Hospital in Bossier City, Louisiana. Intensive Specialty has been recognized in the state of Louisiana as a leading hospital in their response to ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
CHG has several Intensive Outpatient Programs; Intensive Behavioral Health and NL Whole Health Treatment Center in Shreveport and Sunview Medical Day in West Palm Beach. CHG is in the process of building additional inpatient and outpatient acute care hospitals in West Palm Beach, Florida, Melrose Park, Illinois, San Antonio, Texas and Wichita, Kansas. Additional inpatient substance abuse and eating disorder facilities are present in Washington State and Mt. Dora, Florida. Additionally, CHG owns nursing facilities throughout the country.
